Julie Daniels is the SABP's Labour and Union Advisor. She has many year's experience as a shop steward for a large retail outlet.

	Julie works simultaneously as an admin clerk involving data capturing, receiving and management-staff conflict resolution for some 100 employees. She is the kind of person who constantly uses her powers of mutual-respect and compassion, and will organise a food hamper collection from her friends for a jobless person in a matter of minutes. When needy people require a lift to the clinic or doctor, you can be sure Julie will be there to lend a hand. Julie is married with two fine young adult children. Her daughter is in the medical field and her son in high school. She is very health conscious and enjoys jogging and the occasional marathon. Julie was held up in a robbery of her store some months back. Five men held up the store at gun-point and stole over R100 000. She kept a cool head during the entire ordeal and helped to keep people calm so that nobody was physically hurt. Many of the staff required counselling after this terrible experience. Julie firmly believes that this kind of robbery takes place far too much in South Africa, that government appears not to care about stopping it, and that when the SABP comes to power, such criminal behaviour will be dealt with in a serious manner.
